The objective of the plan is to help the carpet retain its highest appearance level at the budgeted cost. Our experienced staff can tailor a plan to meet your specific carpet maintenance needs. We structure our programs exclusively for each customer based on traffic patterns and key areas where soil build-ups occur most.
The success of of the maintenance plan and life cycle of the carpet depends in a large part on the quality and the frequency of vacuuming and cleaning. A complete and effective program should include four maintenance categories: preventative, daily, periodic, and intensive.
Preventative measures can be taken to reduce the effects of soil:
Periodic scheduled cleaning includes pile brushing with a pilelifter vacauum which removes deeply embedded soil from high traffic areas
prior to carpet cleaning by one of the following cleaning methods recommended by the carpet manufacturer:
A facility-wide cleaning should take place a minimum of once per year to remove the overall accumulated soil areas which were not part of the periodic and daily maintenance program.
All major carpet manufacturers recommend one of the following (depending on carpet fiber) cleaning methods for optimum life cycle
and higher appearance level.
Prior to cleaning, pile lifting will help break loose and remove embedded soil that regular vacuuming cannot remove. The lifting action is especially helpful in high traffic areas by uprighting and separating the fibers to reduce mattting, providing a deep, rich looking appearance.
Dry powder is applied unto carpet by special machine. During this time the powder acts like a sponge, absorbing soll. The powder and soil are then extracted by dual motor vacuum.
Low moisture method used to maintain carpets appearance. Regular bonnet cleaning will enhance and protect your company's investment.
Steam cleaning machines apply pressurized cleaning solutions with various water tempertures and is immediately extracted, removing water and soil.
This is one of the most cost effective methods commonly used for intensive cleaning and should only be performed by an experienced certified technician to avoid overwetting.
We believe any service offered is dependent upon supervision and managerial experise. Merlin has assembled the most dedicated,
knowledgable, and responsive team available, which allows us to monitor quality and efficiency with great detail.
Performs initial on-site inspection, analyzing the facilities condition to determine an appropriate maintenance plan within the company's budget. A maintenance frequency plan will be submitted outlining the recommended cleaning methods to be implemented by Merlin in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Periodic routine visits are sceduled at the customer's convenience to allow access for our Account Executive to inspect premises during normal business hours. We view this inspection as a courtesy call, assuring both Merlin and our customer that our technicians have met or exceeded our standards.
Field Managers take an active role in evaluating our services on-site and reports directly to the Vice President/Operations. Their formal training and job experience allows them to spot potential problem areas and implement preventative solutions. In addition to scheduled inspections, Field Managers drop in on all work sites on a random pattern to further guarantee consistent performance.
